Ice Flow on the Hudson River

No, this is not Greenland or Antartica. This is the Hudson in January at about 131st Street in NYC.

After viewing your picture of the ice flow in the Hudson, I can't help but be reminded of the pilot and crew who somehow miraculously landed a crippled plane in the frigid waters of the Hudson River last week. The fact that all were rescued, including someone in a wheelchair, seems like nothing short of a miracle to me. In these uncertain times when we seem to be submerged in our own financial woes and worries, it felt refreshing to just be still for a moment, take a deep breath, and whisper a prayer of gratitude for the safety of all those involved!
